Welcome to the website for NARPO North Yorkshire serving the membership of the following branches:

• North Riding (Northallerton and Richmond areas)
• Scarborough and District (Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale areas)
• York (York, Selby and Tadcaster areas)
• Harrogate and Skipton (Harrogate, Ripon and Craven areas)

The aims of NARPO are to safeguard the rights of members with the emphasis on their welfare with particular reference to pensions.

The site aims to provide members with the latest relevant news both nationally and locally as well as informing them of events of interest. A 'signposting' service to relevant information and organisations is available via the links and welfare pages.

This site should be used in conjunction with the national site for which there is a link, we will not normally duplicate issues from the national site as accurate updating could be a problem.

Members with items they want posted should contact the appropriate Branch, who will consider whether or not to add it.  Currently there is no intention to add a social network section to the site or anything of a similar nature, however we will provide a link to North Riding facebook.

Feedback, good or bad, is welcome, but we cannot please everyone so it won’t necessarily result in changes being made but please be assured all feedback will receive due attention.
